A large cabinet Calcite from the Swiss Alps featuring a huge main crystal over 12 cm across.
The Calcite stands up on edge as can be seen in the side view at the lower right.
I have shown views from the front where several nice Quartz crystals to about 6 cm show in the foreground and from the back showing the nice lustrous Calcite faces dominating the rear of the specimen.
There are a couple of edge nicks on the calcite, but as you can see, they do not detract, considering the size of the crystal.
This is a very large, rare Alpine Calcite.
