A superb Creedite 'ball' of superior color and condition
Locality: Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico
Size:  4.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm
A very good specimen of arsenic rich vanadinite, some times referred to as Endlichite.
Very lustrous curved brown crystals to over a centimeter. A few missing crystals here
and there as is normal on these fragile vanadinites, but overall, a fine old classic.
Difficult to photograph with so many high luster crystals reflecting the lights.
Dates back to the days of the big wulfenite finds.

What make this gemmy, clear Selenite so unusual is a flowery spray of light blue
Smithsonite attached to the side of the large crystal AND contiuing inside
the crystal where it ends as a very sharp phantom. Never have seen another like it.
No damage and very choice.
Ex Ertel collection acquired in 1983 .
